Vidarbha has been synonymous with farmer distress. Raviraj Deshmukh's Farmer Education and Motivation Programme (FMP), cotton farmer cooperatives through Maharagram Agro, and relentless advocacy for fair MSP have positioned him as one of the region's strongest voices for agricultural justice. The Surgical Cotton Centre at Gharphal will create an entire local processing value chain.
From ground-level organizer to Pradesh Vice President — a political journey built on grassroots credibility
Raviraj Deshmukh's political journey is the story of a man who never lost connection with the ground even as he rose in the party hierarchy. Every role he held — from District Secretary to Pradesh Vice President — was lived, not just held.
He organized the OBC Jagruti Yatra, bringing 25,000+ citizens to Tivsa. He led the Shankar Pat event with 2.5 lakh participants. His political impact is not measured in votes alone but in the concrete policy changes, government scheme implementations, and community mobilizations that have changed life at the block level.
