Joined BJP as an active lifetime member. Began grassroots political work in Tivsa, Amravati, building deep connections with the farming community, local leaders and ordinary citizens. This year marked the beginning of a lifelong commitment to public service.
BJP Lifetime MemberAppointed BJP District Secretary of Youth Morcha (1996), then District Vice President of Youth Morcha (1999). Led large-scale youth mobilizations across Amravati, building a new generation of party workers deeply committed to social work alongside political action.
Youth Morcha LeadershipFounded Maharashtra Gram Darpan Sanstha — meaning "Mirror of Rural India" — with a commitment to rural development and community empowerment in Amravati. This became the institutional vehicle for all subsequent development work, growing to serve 21.5 lakh people.
MGD Founded · AmravatiLaunched the first water quality and sanitation awareness drives in rural Amravati. Partnered with Gram Panchayats to address the rural hygiene crisis — years before Swachh Bharat became a national mission. This early work laid the groundwork for MGD's later role as SBM 2.0 implementation partner.
Rural Sanitation WorkAppointed BJP Pradesh Secretary, Youth Morcha Maharashtra (2002), then Pradesh Vice President, Youth Morcha Maharashtra (2005). Led youth initiatives across the state, building networks and organizing large-scale campaigns. This was the formative period of his state-level political presence.
Pradesh Level LeadershipLaunched the Farmer Education and Motivation Programme (FMP) in Vidarbha — recognizing early that Maharashtra's farmer crisis required both psychological support and practical intervention. Organized workshops on modern farming techniques, market linkages, and soil health. Partnered with IFAD for pan-India implementation.
IFAD Partner · FMP LaunchFormally launched the Women Self Help Group (SHG) initiative with NABFIN loan linkages. First batches formed across Amravati district. Within months, women were starting flour mills, poultry farms, animal husbandry businesses, and small enterprises — achieving genuine economic independence. India's first SHG school was established under this initiative.
Women's EmpowermentServed as BJP Amravati District Treasurer (2012–2015), then District General Secretary/Mahamantri (2015–2019). Simultaneously expanded MGD's programmes to Gondia and Hingoli. The SHG count crossed 1,000, then 3,000. Highway tree plantation of 40 KM undertaken. OBC Jagruti Yatra organized — bringing 25,000+ citizens to Tivsa.
Expansion Phase · 3+ DistrictsBJP Pradesh Executive Committee Member. MGD implemented Swachh Bharat Mission 2.0 across 5,000+ Gram Panchayats — one of the largest single-organization implementations in Maharashtra. The SHG network surpassed 5,000 groups across three districts. Community radio station established, reaching 5 lakh+ listeners.
SBM 2.0 · Pradesh ExecutiveOrganized landmark free mega health camps (Maha Arogya Shibir) with 60,000+ beneficiaries, 817 surgeries, and 13,500 free spectacles distributed. Appointed BJP Pradesh Vice President OBC Morcha (2023). Organized the grand Kisaan Shankar Pat event with 2.5 lakh participants in Tivsa — one of the region's largest gatherings.
Maha Arogya Shibir · OBC VPAppointed BJP Pradesh Vice President Maharashtra — the culmination of 30+ years of dedicated party service, public work, and grassroots leadership across all of Vidarbha. This appointment represented not just personal recognition but a mandate to shape party policy at the state level, bringing rural Maharashtra's voice to the highest levels.
Pradesh Vice PresidentAppointed as the District President (Jila Adhyaksha) for Amravati Rural — returning full focus to the grassroots level that has always been his greatest strength. This appointment reflects the party's trust in his ability to build and lead the BJP's presence across Amravati's hundreds of villages in the coming years.
